This morning, I woke up feeling completely healthy. No flu. Checked. No fever. Checked. No sore throat. Checked. Finally, I'm healthy again....
But....
I'm down with diarrhea now. Bet it was the dinner last night. Even the maid, Kak Ning had diarrhea. Jeeez. Why am I so bloody unlucky? My stomach hurts so much every now and then, and I just played doctor yet again within a week. Consumed one tablet of IMODIUM Loperamide hydrochloride 2.0 mg that Mum packed into my "medication" bag. Seriously, I never thought that bag would come to handy so often~ Anyways, I was kinda doubting the IMODIUM drug, so I googled it up. Correct, it's an Antidiarrhoeal drug.

Antidiarrhoeal Activity: Loperamide binds to the opiate receptor in the gut wall. Consequently, it inhibits the release of acetylcholine and prostaglandins, thereby reducing propulsive peristalsis and increasing intestinal transit time. Anyways, I feel like crap right now. I'm gonna bury my nose in the crazy thick book called "Avery's Drug Treatment" I borrowed from the library and start doing my PBL Assignment. Hmmmm, hey.....maybe I should check out IMODIUM Loperamide hydrochloride there too!!
